Executive advisory for owners and C-level who have reached their goals and refuse to plateau.
Executive introduction
IT security at national level. Then the question every system raises: who decides, and how well? Twenty years later I advise the people who do.
I have watched systems fail, and it was never the technology. It was a decision made too late, with too little information, by someone no one dared to contradict. I exist to remove that failure mode.
I read a company the way I read a network: where it leaks, where it locks up, where one change moves everything. Executive coaching for the person, AI strategy and enterprise architecture for the structure, and the two never separate.
Enterprise Architect & Strategist, awarded with the 10X Award. IT Security at national level, Hall of Fame of the German Military. Business & Executive Coach, certified by the German Chamber of Commerce.
Discovery maps where you stand. Then I build inside your company, with you first. What stays is your own way of working with AI, your knowledge kept, your own advisory council and your people trained to carry it on.
Train the Trainer
One advisor reaches one executive. A trained leadership team reaches the whole company. I certify your senior people in the same systems thinking, decision discipline and AI literacy I bring to the boardroom, so the method stays when I leave.
C-level, division heads and the internal coaches who develop them. Small cohorts, hand-picked with you.
Systems thinking for leaders. Decision architecture. Leading with AI instead of around it. Practised on your live cases, not textbook ones.
A leadership bench that thinks alike at the top, decides faster and no longer needs an external voice for every hard call.
The roadmap, and the analysis it rests on.
This experience is not for everybody. My clients hold a strong ego position and are in control of their lives. To let me into those lives, they also need a daring streak and an explorative side to their personality.
A client flies me out for two to three days. I get an understanding of their life and who they are, while we discuss goals, health, philosophy, the past, present and future. Together we decide whether we will work together and what that entails: we agree the fee, set a start date and sign a contract.
This is generally a very easy process. Ninety percent of my clients are referrals. They know about confidentiality, have some idea of what to expect, and what the results can be.
Again, this is not for everybody. The fee and the time involved require the client to make the programme a priority in their life.
I do not like the word "issue"; it implies something is wrong with the person.
None of us are perfect.
Quite often, the experiences I deal with are malaise, crisis and anxiety, which many people grapple with in their lives.
We are programmed to believe that certain achievements, professional goals, possessions, social standing, relationships, etc., will make us "happy" and feel "fulfilled".
This is the great lie.
We work hard to achieve many things in life. We then achieve them and feel a sense of something missing, or our achievements are disrupted; thus, we question what the struggle, game and social conditioning were all about.
For some there is the added pressure of media and public scrutiny, which can result in a person living a life totally outside of themselves, their wants, needs and desires.
The life experience is very different. The end result is often the same: the feeling of being boxed in, stagnant, almost caged, and therefore unfulfilled.
No.
Every client is different and lives in a microcosm which is unique to them.
My process is very fluid and adjusts to the psychology, ego, life experience, social experience, religious/spiritual and cultural experience of the client.
Generally, my clients are in a position where people do not tell them the truth.
I am not here to stroke or validate ego. In the end, direct, non-filtered communication is appreciated. Life is short.
If someone would like a slow, gentle approach, they may be better suited to a psychologist or a life coach.
Personal advisor.
It is important for clients to understand I do not operate under professional or ethical guidelines. Thus, at times, my behaviour may be perceived as abrasive or rude.
I am not quite sure, as there are a multitude of factors.
Life experience is one of them.
Without going into specifics, I went from a very organised, structured, tight, pre-planned life to one of lost destiny, identity, hope, faith.
I spent many years searching, creating, failing and becoming a master of self destruction. You cannot learn or fully understand the lessons I have experienced by reading a clinical study.
I have survived myself.
First, I am not here to impose my worldview or spiritual beliefs on my clients. I am here to facilitate the client exploring their worldview and spiritual engagement. Spirituality is an extremely personal experience.
I have worked with Christians, Jews, Muslims, Buddhists, Hindus, atheists, etc. Thus, I read, study and understand each religion and relevant sub-religion. When a spiritual element emerges whilst working with a client, it is up to the client where this is placed. However, in order to better understand the client, I need to understand their religious and/or spiritual philosophies.
Second, by nature I am a wanderer, explorer, student of life. I have worked throughout the Middle-East, Asia and Europe. These journeys into different cultures are an exciting opportunity to experience, learn and respect what I do not know.
An exciting adventure.
Understandably the client has a bit (a lot) more trepidation than I do.
After all, it is their life which will be under the microscope.
